Food & Wine says Vires, of Home Wine Kitchen, is amazing because "he channeled her love for throwing dinner parties for friends into a full-time career, serving delicious, inspired New American dishes." Poremba, of Elaia and Olio, on the other hand "ingeniously serves upscale and rustic interpretations of Mediterranean ingredients in side-by-side restaurants. And the food is delicious."

Other nominees from the Midwest include Ryan Brazeal of Kansas City, Thomas Hauck of Milwaukee and Dan Fox of Madison, Wisconsin. Check you the full list here and vote for Vires and Pormeba here. Voting ends March 31. Congrats guys!
