Layla Lebanese Restaurant is now open at 4317 Manchester Avenue in Forest Park Southeast's Grove district. (The space was previously home to Flavors BBQ Sports Bar & Grill; before that, it was the original location of Five Bistro.)
I have yet to find a website, Facebook page or even, alas, a phone number for Layla. However, a top-secret Gut Check operative did manage to procure a copy of the menu for me. It features a selection of hot and cold appetizers (hummus, labneh, falafel, the fava bean dish foul moudames) as well as soups and salads. Entrees include beef and chicken shish kebabs, beef kefta and marinated and grilled lamb chops. Most of the appetizers are under $5, most of the entrees under $15.
