Noodle House Opens on South Grand

Gut Check told you in early April about Noodle House, a Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant opening in the former Arby's building at 3924 South Grand Boulevard, just south of Chippewa Street -- and not far at all from another new Vietnamese joint, St. Louis Pho Restaurant (3863 South Grand Boulevard; 314-664-4041).

As of this week, Noodle House is open.

The restaurant didn't have a to-go menu that I could take with me, but I was able to glance at the menu (a work in progress, an employee assured me), which in the manner of many of the area's Vietnamese restaurants, features a wide range (around 100) of Vietnamese dishes.

The number of Chinese dishes is considerably smaller. These won't be available until next week, when the chef specializing in Noodle House's Chinese fare begins work.

Noodle House is open from 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
