Niche (1831 Sidney Street; 314-773-7755) will have one more honor to pack up when it moves from Benton Park to Clayton later this year.

The website Opinionated About Dining has released its survey of the "Top 100 U.S. Restaurants of 2012," and Gerard Craft's flagship restaurant is ranked #67 -- ahead of such acclaimed spots as wd-50 in New York City and Blackbird in Chicago.

The Opinionated About Dining survey distinguishes itself from other surveys, like Zagat, by claiming to take the quality of those reviewing the restaurants into account:

Both restaurants and reviewers are assigned weights: Restaurants based on the ratings they have been awarded and reviewers based on the quantity and quality of the restaurants they have rated. The 2012 results are based on over 70,000 reviews which were contributed by the more than 3,000 people who have registered for our survey.
