Regular readers know that few foods bring me more joy than tacos. While I love authentic taqueria tacos the best, I'm no stickler for tradition. I love the Americanized hard-shell version with ground beef and shredded cheese. (Seriously -- I made these last night!) And I'm dying to try Kogi, the Korean-Mexican-fusion taco truck in Los Angeles that is the standard bearer for the food truck revolution.
Still, a story in today's New York Times gave me pause. It seems that kids are obsessed with hard-shell tacos filled with spaghetti.
Spaghetti? Really?
