It makes perfect sense that Bif Naked has a pseudo love song to Henry Rollins (simply titled "Henry") on her new album, Superbeautifulmonster, since she's essentially ol' Hank's female, Canadian analog: a heavily tattooed, straight-edge, onetime punk-rock singer who's got some spoken-word albums under her belt and is usually found on the road, in the gym or hosting shows on cable TV. Last we checked, though, Rollins wasn't writing glossy alterna-pop-metal tunes with Linda Perry and one of the guys from Puddle of Mudd, or recording an ultra-faithful rendition of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters." Live, the hypersexual Ms. Naked comes off like a cross between Pink, WWF wrestler Chyna, Diamanda Galas and that chick from the Divinyls who liked to touch herself. Now, is that something you wanna miss?
