Blink-182's original lineup, Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker, released an album, One More Time ..., this year.

It's all the small things in life that keep you going. Like a totally classic '90s/aughts band putting out its first album with its original lineup in over a decade and announcing a tour behind it.

Yes, we're talking about blink-182. Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker are back in a big way with One More Time ... Its first single, the title track, dropped late last month.

Thankfully for its St. Louis fans, the band is scheduled to make a stop at Enterprise Center on August 10, and tickets for the tour go on sale at 10 am. Friday at blink182.com. San Diego rock band Pierce the Veil will be opening for some of the tour, including in St. Louis.

It's sure to be a nostalgic trip for the band, whose third album Enema of the State (and subsequent offerings) was largely responsible for introducing that instantly recognizable pop-punk sound into the mainstream (Could we have had Avril Lavigne, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco or even Grimes without it? Unlikely). And fans of that sound need will find a lot to like in the new album, which sounds very much of a piece with the older work but with lyrics reflecting the time that's passed and, at times, a tone that's a bit more mature — within reason.

But not too mature. There's enough of that  f-you joi de vivre that listeners won't be asking themselves, what's my age again?
