A 47-year-old black man told police that he stepped out of a house in the 4100 block of Green Lea Place at 3:50 a.m. this morning and heard a "loud popping" noise. He immediately felt a pain in his right arm and realized he had been shot. Neither the victim nor other witnesses to the crime could determine where the shot originated. He's now in stable condition at an area hospital. Police continue to investigate the case this morning.
