"I don't understand why Forest Park is placed on the divine pedestal that it is. I've done my best over the years to discover why. Here are my findings: The roads in and through the park are circuitous for no reason and are replete with confusing signage. The pedestrian trails are even less efficient and tend to end abruptly. My last attempt to cut a more direct route through the park (Art Museum to Lindell), came to a muddy conclusion. Most of the park is unlit, which should make a wise city dweller wary for his safety.

"I know the park contains a number of St. Louis attractions (The Muny, the Art and History Museums, etc), but none of those institutions draw their strengths or weaknesses from the park, for example, the bike trails have no effect on the quality of exhibits at the History Museum. On the positive side, I guess it's nice to know the park is there if I ever find a use for it."

"This place was hectic, claustrophobic and waiting for a lawsuit if it hasn't happened already. It's definitely not a place for kids under 9 with or without adult supervision, regardless of what the City Museum policy says.
"There are parts in this place that're just way too dangerous even for a full grown-ass adult, let alone a drunk adult which apparently is encouraged during night time. U gotta love the 'show me state.'"

"All you will find is an empty shell of an old building (and unless you are into architecture and understand its uniqueness — which I do not), that isn't terribly exciting or particularly beautiful. Inside you have to pay $1 to get in.... why? Do they even cover the costs of payroll for the guy that takes your money and sits there listening to old R&B music? I wonder how many people argue with him for a refund... Anyway, it’s empty inside except for a few palm trees and low lying shrubs. Just skip it and spend your time somewhere else and give your dollar to the Art Museum."

"We attended a performance of Sister Act. We were disappointed in the performance and that they disrespected the church. I believe they disrespected the audience too, when the three body guards (who were good singers) used their body language to show us how they would lure the nuns with their sex. The audience I noted did not clap much for them."

"Most Macabre Park in America. Would you let your kids play Inside this mummy head? Other sculptures are decapitated mutilated bodies. One statue is a cartoon-like character with a baby character in one hand preparing to hit it with a hammer held in the other hand. Creepy!"

"At section 135 Double Play Tap And Grill, they sell 4 Hands, nachos and Jose Cuervo margaritas on tap. While the margarita was good there was way too much ice. Very inconsistent ice fill between customers."

“What a joke! Took my kids there and they won't take cash for ice cream and food! Never heard of a place that doesn't take cash. So dumb! Hate this place and won't be back!”

“Busch Stadium in many ways reminds of taking a trip to your Grandma's house for the day when you're a little kid. Why do I say this? Well... The atmosphere is very conservative, quiet, and pretty boring. Fans here tend to be way too serious about watching the game, and not about having fun like you would at Wrigley. I also think what Busch is lacking is an organ player."
