November 21 to December 30

Miracle at Small Change(2800 Indiana Avenue) is St. Louis’ original Christmas pop-up bar. With so much kitschy holiday décor, top-notch cocktails and nostalgic energy, it’s sure to put the grouchiest grinch in the holiday spirit. Walk-ins will be seated on a first come, first served basis. For guaranteed seating, there’s a $5 per person reservation fee, which will be donated to Santa's Helpers, a local charitable organization that helps families in need. 

Lit at Molly’s

November 29 to December 25

Get lit at Molly’s in Soulard(816 Geyer Avenue) this holiday season, with outrageous decor, Christmas costumes, themed menus and tunes. Enjoy one of its 12 Drinks of LITmas — Partridge in a Pear Tree, Melted Snowman or Mistletoe Kiss — for $14 each. Or maybe the Gingerbread Man, an elf-sized drink [a.k.a. full-sized shot], with Bird Dog gingerbread flavored whiskey and RumChata or Caramel Apple with Licor 43, DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker and Smirnoff Kissed Caramel. Small bites will also be available such as deep fried ornaments, snow balls or Prancer’s pepper poppers. 

The Chalet Pop-up Bar

Weekends in December

Bring luxury into your holiday festivities with a visit to Le Meridien's Chalet(7730 Bonhomme Avenue). It's perched on the sky deck at Le Meridien in Clayton where you’ll find exclusive indoor and outdoor experience creating the ultimate winter escape in the city. The outdoor pop-up bar is $15 and offers curling for $50 per hour, savory seasonal bites and sips, cozy fire pit seating, live music, s'mores kits, wooden pergolas, heated lamps, twinkling lights and blankets. Looking to take the Chalet experience indoors? You’re in luck. There’s an indoor private room for up to 10 people with an outdoor patio and direct access to the Chalet Pop-Up Bar for $500. This one-hour and 45-minute experience comes with private outdoor seating with a firepit, curling rink rentals and concierge services.

Up on the Rooftop 

November 7 to December 30

Get a 360 view of the holiday season at Three Sixty(1 South Broadway) in downtown St. Louis. Sip on a ‘Seasick Crocodile’ made with pine liqueur, French herbs, pineapple, lime and powdered sugar snow. Or maybe a ‘Sleigh, Girl’ is more your vibe, with vodka, sloe gin, cranberry sauce cordial and ginger beer. Either way, this Christmas pop-up brings a whimsical holiday experience with its variety of seasonal drinks — $14.50 each — small plates, glittering holiday atmosphere and a life-size snow globe with optimal views of the city skyline. Guests can enjoy the festive decor inside 360 or out on the patio with warm fire pits. Seating is first come, first served. 

Sleigh Shed

November 27 to December 31 

The Sleigh Shed has returned for the 2023 holiday season. Union Station’s Train Shed(1820 Market Street) has been transformed into a magical Christmas retreat with wall-to-wall bling. The pop-up bar features creative cocktails such as Sleighcation (double-aged dark rum, coconut rum, hazelnut liqueur, allspice dram, cream of coconut, lime and Angostura bitters) and Just Beclaus (vanilla vodka, Aperol, Abricot du Roussillon liqueur, cream, simple syrup, lemon and egg white), alongside appetizers and desserts. From traditional Christmas colors to dripping icicles, the Sleigh Shed is full of holiday cheer. 

Weirdly Wonderful Holidays

November 24 to December 31

Step into a winter wonderland at the City Museum(750 North 16th Street) , with dazzling lights, enchanted caves, Christmas stories from Mrs. Claus and, of course, visits with Santa himself. Make sure to catch his live show A Magical Holiday Experience on the weekends. Adults can enjoy festive speciality cocktails at the Cozy Chalet bar, the North Pole bar or the Holly Jolly Cafe. Not in the mood for drinks? Step outside on the patio to roast some s’mores or decorate cookies with the kids.

Tinsel Tavern

November 27 to December 30

Ready for that yuletide love? Tinsel Tavern at Ballpark Village(601 Clark Avenue) is decking the season with themed events such as Naughty and Nice Singles Jingle on Thursday, December 14, and an ugly sweater party on Friday, December 22, and more. Drinks will be merry and bright, festive food will be available along with spruced-up photo ops and loads of Christmas decor. Table reservations start at $10.

Sippin’ Santa

November 23 to December 31

Who said it has to snow on Christmas? Sippin’ Santa at Planter’s House(1000 Mississippi Avenue) is the season's Tiki Christmas paradise. Escape the cold with Santa at this festive island-themed pop-up serving one-of-a-kind Tiki-inspired holiday cocktails and food. Try the Merry Spritzmus ($14) made with prosecco, aperitif, tawny port, cognac, lemon, falernum, fig preserves, cardamom bitters. Too small? Go for the North Pole Bowl ($28) with Martinique and Jamaican rum, black tea, thrice-spiced honey, lime and vanilla syrup. Each reservation requires a non-refundable $5 per person reservation fee with proceeds benefiting the St. Louis Community Foundation.

Tinseltown: The Christmas Speakeasy 

November 29 to December 24

Have You Been Naughty Or Nice? Because Tinseltown is coming to Utopia Studios(3957 Park Avenue), and it’s for all the good, or bad, ladies and gents. The all-encompassing Christmas-themed pop-up will fulfill all your festive wishes. You can expect Santa's elves, tinsel, festive tunes and lots of winter warmer drinks, including a fabulous Christmas cocktail menu and more. Tickets ($15) include entry to the themed bar and a themed drink on arrival.

Bling

Fridays and Saturdays in December

The Wolf Cafe Taproom & Cocktail Lounge(15480 Clayton Road, Ballwin) is back this holiday season with its handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, appetizers and craft beer. Seats in the taproom are $20 while VIP seats are $25 and include a complimentary glass of Champagne.

All I Want: The Queen of Christmas Pop-Up

November 27 to December 31

All I Want: The Queen of Christmas Pop-Up takes over the rooftop bar at Angad Arts Hotel(3550 Samuel Shepard Drive) with a glitzy winter aesthetic complete with Champagne and silver decorations, white fur accents, seasonal cocktails and festive photo opportunities. During its run, enjoy acoustic music on Thursdays.

Jingle

November 19 to December 30

Jingle is an over-the-top, holiday-themed pop-up with a chess twist at the Saint Louis Chess Campus (4657 Maryland Avenue). During “Nice” hours (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), families and kids can enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and hands-on activities and projects. At night, during “Naughty” hours (4 p.m. to 10 p.m.) adults can sip on chess-inspired drinks and small bites from Kingside Diner. The World Chess Hall of Fame will be converted into a frosty fantasy with floor-to-ceiling decorations, themed chess sets and an illuminated, multicolor-changing bar. Tickets during “Nice” hours are $5 per person and $10 per person during “Naughty” hours. 

Frosted: A Holiday Cocktail Experience

December 14 to December 23

Tower Grove Park has turned Piper Palm House (4271 Northeast Drive) into the ultimate snowy paradise for another holiday season, with a menu of unique, Christmas-inspired cocktails, live entertainment and food by Farm Spirit. On Saturday and Sunday, December 16 and 17, Frosted will include an outdoor Holiday Market featuring handmade goods and crafts from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Adult Play Date: Magic Holiday Pop-Up

December 7 from 6 p.m. to 9p.m.

The Magic House (516 South Kirkwood Road) isn’t just for the kids this holiday season. For $35, adults can enjoy a festive evening of holiday-themed cocktails and appetizers, a photo op with Santa, and a little holiday shopping from local pop-up shops, including Sweet Momma Blair, Everyday Fancy Candle Co., Whip It Goods Skincare and Ptera Jewelry. Reservation cost includes all food and drinks.

Avalanche

November 28 to January 7

Dare to take on Avalanche? Avalanche at Work & Leisure (3015 Locust Street) is an immersive winter experience where staff members are in charge of protecting guests from the impending avalanche. As guests embark on this thrilling adventure to test their fates, they can enjoy signature drinks, small bites and specialty cocktails. Your ski pass ($20-$30) will get you into the pop-up, a signature drink and a snack. Or opted for the VIP Log Cabin, which seats up to 10 people and includes admission, signature drink, one small bite and one specialty cocktail.

Toasted Chestnut A Christmas Pop-Up Bar

Wednesdays through Saturdays in December 

Public School House (5546 Chestnut Street, Cottleville) has planned an immersive winter wonderland with delicious SugarFire fare, cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine and shots. The pop-up offers tickets for a variety of groups and price ranges including bar seating, table tops, VIP and VIP igloos. Reserved tables are $18.50 per person, VIP couch reservations are $21 and VIP heated igloos are $26.25.
