Go, Doggone It

Sadie the shepherd dog here, delighted to be asked to contribute to Night & Day. It's not often we mutts are allowed to write in, but it's not often that local theater concerns us so much. Plus, Ms. Day has promised me a box of Milk-Bones if I tell you about the Metro Theater Company's production of Go, Dog. Go! at the Center of Creative Arts (524 Trinity Avenue, University City; www.metrotheatercompany.org or 314-534-1111). It's just like the classic children's book by P.D. Eastman but with more accordion music (woof!). Performances at 6:30 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, and 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Sunday (January 18 through 27). Tickets cost $12 to $14, and the show is recommended for pups ages three and older (in people years).
Fridays-Sundays. Starts: Jan. 18. Continues through Jan. 27, 2008
