Museum of (European) Transportation

For those of you out there driving a beater that has more than 150,000 miles and is covered in the previous owner's bumper stickers (including one that says "My Other Car's a Benz"), the Kemp Auto Museum (16955 Chesterfield Airport Road, Chesterfield; 636-537-1718 or www.kempautomuseum.org) is for you. This place, which just opened in 2005, houses vintage to contemporary European cars — and all of them are guaranteed to be a sight for sore eyes. Have a peek at some of these beauties during the Kemp Summer Concert Series, happening from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month through September. In July the Smash Band rocks the courtyard, while adults enjoy Mexican meals courtesy of Espino's Mexican Bar & Grill; no coolers are allowed, but the bar will be open. Admission to the concerts is $5 — and, no, that doesn't entitle you to any kind of test-drive.
First Thursday of every month. Starts: July 6. Continues through Sept. 7
