A Look Inside Hot Box Cookies' New Central West End Storefront

As reported by Gut Check, Hot Box Cookies (3 North Euclid Avenue; 314-899-0909) opened in the Central West End on February 27. The late-night cookie bakery and delivery service originated in 2008 with its flagship in Columbia, later adding a location in Lawrence, Kansas. This is its first St. Louis store, and five more are planned for the St. Louis area in the coming year in spots including the Delmar Loop and downtown.

Hot Box's menu features classic American-style cookies for $1 each: chocolate chip, "cookies n creme," M&M, snickerdoodle, peanut butter, peanut-butter Reese's Pieces, peanut-butter chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and oatmeal-chocolate chip. Specialty cookies cost $1.25 each: red velvet, chocolate white-chocolate chip, and "Monster," made with oatmeal, Reese's Pieces, peanut butter, chocolate chips and M&Ms.

Additional options include an "icing sandwich" ($3.25) -- your choice of two classic cookies sandwiched with icing -- ice-cream sandwiches ($3.25) and twelve-inch cookie cakes ($23.95). Drinks include bottled milk, water and soda.

Hot Box Cookies' current hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight, Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from noon to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight. For the full menu and additional information, visit the Hot Box Cookies website and follow it on Facebook.
