The evening will feature Japanese-style utensils and seating and have sake cocktails for purchase. The dinner begins with chilled melon soup with chili crab, poached rock shrimp and wasabi salad. Next up is compressed sushi with smoked salmon, plus buckwheat noodles and kezuri-bushi dipping sauce. We're just getting started!

The third course is seared head-on prawns over hot salts with Japanese garlic and chili. Next is a flight of house sushi, followed by fried aubergine with red miso sauce. Dessert will be sweet green tea crème brulee with sweet ginger caviar. The cocktails are American Ninjas, which is Black & Gold sake, St. Germain, yuzu, sauvignon blanc, pear syrup and champagne tincture; Balance, which is Zipang sparkling sake, lychee, lemon ginger honey syrup, coconut water and lime bitters; and Ying Is(n't) Yang, which is Horin sake, green tea syrup, lemon, lychee, and Chinese five-spiced foam.

Tickets are $50. You can get them here or by calling 636-277-0202.
