Restaurant Tidbit: Flaco's Cocina

My operatives pass like ninjas through the night, menus tucked into, uh, whatever it is that ninjas wear.

At my desk is a menu for Flaco's Cocina (8400 Delmar Boulevard). For those of you with fond memories of Flaco's Tacos, there are fish tacos on the menu: mahi mahi, tilapia, salmon and "tempura baja." If I'm reading the menu right, you get 2 for $8.95.

The menu as a whole features ceviche, quesadillas and such small plate dishes as kebabs and crab cakes. Main courses include enchiladas, paella and rack of lamb. There are also several desserts, including the intriguing "waffle taco."
