I smoked two cigarettes a day in college as a social thing.
I have seen the Smoke-Free St. Louis billboards and the number of cities that have gone smoke-free, and I find the trend influential.
It would have to be regional or statewide. I visit my sister in New York a lot, and they have a smoking ban throughout the whole city. She smokes and a lot of her friends smoke, and they don't seem to mind at all stepping outside to smoke.
My father died of lung cancer, so I am aware of all the issues and secondhand smoke, but I also feel that people have choices to make, and they can choose whether or not to go to a restaurant because of whether or not there's too much smoke.
I was just a social smoker, one or two cigarettes a day.
