Michael Jordan’s Illinois Mansion Is a Palace Built for a GOAT

Michael Jordan’s Illinois mansion is 32,693 square feet of contemporary design. Built in 1995, the Highland Park home has 18 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms and a boatload of high-end amenities.

In addition to the mandatory indoor regulation-sized basketball court, there’s also a tennis court, a putting green and an infinity pool. The luxe property also has a cigar room with poker tables and nods to the Black Cat’s stellar career throughout.

The house has actually been for sale for more than a decade, but His Airness can’t seem to get the deal done even with a lowered asking price. (The house costs him an estimated $135,969 in taxes each year that it just sits there, too. Oof.)

Experts say that all of the “personalized customizations” have made the house difficult to sell, but what’s wrong with having a big “23” on your front gate if that gate is protecting seven acres of luxury living with a legendary past owner? Seems like a steal to us.
