The weekend's Tower Grove Pride festival brought good vibes and a strong sense of community to south city.
In addition to encouraging people to attend as their most open and authentic selves, the festival also offers easy access to critical resources for everyone connected to queer culture in St. Louis, including people who have been shunned by their families for simply being themselves.
Tower Grove Pride was extra special this year because it also included an appearance from the Peoples' Joy Parade — a one-of-a-kind St. Louis experience where participants dress up to share their joy.
Our photographer Theo Welling was there to document the scene.
