VAST majordomo Jon Crosby successfully caught the tail-end of the eclectic alternative age with 1998's "Touched" (a creepy thunder-roll featuring haunted monk chants) and 2000's underrated Music for People (the best Love and Rockets album never made). But in the ensuing years, Crosby's profile has dipped underground although he hasn't stopped releasing tunes; a new album, April, is due early next year.
