Chesterfield Mall has been dying a slow death in recent years. The once-bustling mall has been closing slowly piece-by-piece instead of all at once, giving it “zombie mall” status a few years ago.
But now there are plans to demolish the site (making way for a mixed-use space with office, retail, and more than apartments), so everything must go.
Piddle Crick Hill Mercantile is hosting the liquidation sale. Items on offer include movie theater accessories, retail displays, mall fixtures, signs, lighting, mirrors, commercial speakers, electronics and more. There are many special items available, too, like the chair the Easter Bunny sat in for family photos and windows with the St. Louis skyline etched into them.
Demolition wont start until late next year, so there’s no mad rush to buy these items (and right now Piddle Crick Hill Mercantile is catering to small businesses and contractors who want to purchase a lot all at once, not just dads who need some new shelving for their garage). But you can see prices and what’s currently available on the Piddle Crick Hill Mercantile website. More items will be added as the months go on.
If you need more information about an item or are looking for something in particular, you can fill out the contact form on the website.
And if you don’t want to buy any of the stuff but still want to get a good look at what it’s like inside Chesterfield Mall now, check out the pictures below. It's kind of eerie and it looks very "Last Of Us" in there.
